Especially the daring things taste like a cold winter walk. Or after two, three mulled wine at the Christmas stall of trust. I've tried this once for you as a precaution. You know that.
By the way, if you use a good finished tomato sauce from the jar, it will be extra fix. You can do that, ne. Just look at the label while shopping, so that you carry an honest product without stuffing, flavors and masses of glucose syrup home - that's your meatballs (and you!) More than deserved. 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
2 medium onions, peeled & chopped
2 cloves of garlic, peeled & chopped
2 tins/T-packs of chopped tomatoes à 400 g - 200 ml of water
2 tsp dried thyme
2 tsp dried oregano
2 tbsp apricot jam
1 tbsp thai fish sauce or 3 anchovy fillets finely chopped
1 pinch of chilli powder
salt & pepper
or 800g ready-made tomato sauce
Serving: - grated Parmesan, chopped parsley or basilkum to taste
Knead the minced meat with all the ingredients for the meatballs. Then make four large, round dumplings.
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan and fry the onions and garlic in a glass. Then put all the other ingredients for the sauce in the pot and stir well. Switch off the stove - no cooking time is necessary.
Put half of the sauce in a casserole dish.(If the food is just prepared, then let it cool and cover.)
Just before the baked giant meatballs are ready, prepare the spaghetti in a large pot of salted water according to the package instructions.
Those who want to make themselves quick and easy with the meatballs, cut the parmesan into rough cubes and shred it into 10 seconds together with the breadcrumbs, oregano and garlic very finely into a small strong mixer or smoothie maker. I've enjoyed working with Mr. Magic for years on these issues.
The giant meatballs with tomato sauce are warming up well in the oven dish at 150 degrees top/bottom heat in the oven. If it is a remainder of the food, you can also add boiled spaghetti to the mold and bake.
